Waterloo Seasonal Selection

The family-sized Brick Brewery in Waterloo, Ontario, wanted a new look for their seasonal beers.

Strategy— Keeping and building on the visual equity of their existing Waterloo beers, but letting the new flavours step forward in a way that was both blue-collar and craft.

Solution— Naming the beers after historic parts of Waterloo, such as the pines, the local celebration of the harvest, and the railroads that connected Waterloo to Canada. Visually, the cans brought the richness of flavour and season together, and a unique vertical ribbon both keep equity in the brand, but call out the limited editions.
