Strategy— The new Blackberry devices marked a huge transition point for the troubled brand. Playing catch-up to iOS and Android, the company wanted to move away from its hyper-minimal design style to show off the new retina screens, touch-screen capabilities, and colour callibration software.

Solution— Moving from thin, luxury-inspired silver line icons over to skeuomorphic designs with depth, colour and texture.
